Other than the traditional DAY (Veterans, Armistice, etc) on November 11th in the west, 11/11 is also known as "Singles' Day". I read this wiki entry for the first time today

I enjoyed watching the pix and videos ....and learning about unknown November-customs
To Tin-Yau many thanks as well ! German winter-customs are very similar to austrians indeed ...
Although: The Germans celebrate traditional "Karneval" much more
passionate and better organized , than we our "Fasching" ... I guess. |
