Just finished to read this most interesting, detailed and warm Q&A-report from your exciting gathering in Tokyo, you lucky Japanese friends incl. Paul - haha
Many thanks to all involved ....for the effort, translations and for sharing with us, here in Engl. Forum. Guess we all like, enjoy and highly appreciate !
I think, I can imagine the exciting atmosphere of nervosity and joy ...and hear the pounding hearts when meeting ...
And deeply admire our dear Tony ´s patience and most lovable attitude, to keep the contact with us, his fans. My very best wishes to you, dear oversea fellow fans in U.S. and Canada.....to get a chance to see and/or meet Tony on TG promotion-tour / premiere as well.
Once again : THANK YOU , my dear soulactor ! Yes, a true Grandmaster as personality, you are !

Thank you, everyone, for sharing your experience, (and translating it, too!) I'm so glad you were able to have this dream come true. And thank you, Tony, for being so kind as to make these meetings with your fans. It means so much. I hope you take away with you in your heart, their smiles, and genuine gratitude and affection, and that it makes you feel happy. _________________ "Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Ditto. Thanks all for sharing!
I wonder if there is a marked difference between the HK version and the Japanese (German, etc.) version and if there is yet a US edit. Oh man, why so many versions.
I'd probably get the HK edit.
The following Q&A was excerpted from Nancix's post:
F. Unlike other Hong Kong actors, you don’t play a cameo role. Why?
T. "Cameo role"?
F. In Hollywood or Hong Kong, a famous actor plays a very small part in a film or appears for few seconds. It is a way of topical gimmicks to attract audience.
T. I don’t do that. I don’t like it. Besides, it is not easy because of the producer or film company.
That's my man. |

There are no small roles, only small actors. - Bette Davis
Tony did do a cameo in "Super Model," though. I guess that's where he discovered he didn't like doing cameos? Oh well, at least he found out by experience. Frankly, I'd be too lazy to show up for just a cameo. If I gotta get out of bed, it better be for a good reason! Lol! _________________ "Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Wish I could find someone in my town who teaches it. _________________ "Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read." - Groucho Marx |
