「幻彩詠香江」 於每晚八時正開始上演。觀賞匯演的最佳地點是由「星光大道」至香港文化中心外的尖沙咀海旁，灣仔金紫荊廣場的海濱長廊，以及維多利亞港內的觀光渡輪。
「幻彩詠香江」的音樂和旁述每晚沿著「星光大道」至香港文化中心外的尖沙咀海旁，及灣仔金紫荊廣場海濱長廊播放。匯演的音樂和旁述採用多種語言播送：逢星期一、三、五以英文廣播；星期二、四、六以普通話廣播；而星期日則以廣東話廣播。觀眾亦可在維港沿岸選擇收聽電台：FM103.4 MHz (英語)， FM106.8 MHz (廣東話)，FM107.9 MHz (普通話)；或用手機收聽：35-665-665 (英語)，35-665-668 (普通話)，手機網絡供應商將依一般電話通話時間收費。
A Symphony of Lights (wikipedia) is a synchronised building exterior decorative light and laser multimedia display, featuring 44 buildings on both sides of the Victoria Harbour of Hong Kong accompanied by music. It has attracted over 4 million visitors and locals so far, and is held every night for ten minutes.
