I`m set to go. There is one little uncertainty though, it`s snowing heavily almost the whole day and I really hope this will not interrupt the rail service tomorrow morning so I can get to the airport.
Also not sure if I can post anything tomorrow because I got a ticket for a late movie.

Wow, time flies, it's Belinale time already!
Good luck with everything! I will keep my fingers and toes crossed for you to get to the movie theater on time, without any interruptions. Enjoy the movie and everything Berlinale! Don't worry about posting, whenever you have time to do (or not to do, for whatever reason) will be fine - I am satisfied to know you have a kind heart ...... . |

Thanks for your wishes Helga.
Otherwise what can I say:
- trainride > check
- flight on time > half a check because of a 40 minutes delay but still OK
- suitcase > is somewhere where I am not
On the train I had a nice conversation with an elderly about history and politics. That was a nice experience.
And well, arriving without my suitcase on my holiday isn`t new to me - happened twice in HK already. BUT the webpage says they are LOOKING for it and that makes me a bit worry.
But first I will go to a 9pm screening of MH2. Let`s look on the bright side.

Thanks Yitian. At least my suitcase is now in Berlina and so a few km closer to me.
As for today, well it started out white
And beautiful lit up Friedrichstadtpalast.
I got a little souvenir from Dieter Kosslick the festival chief.
And WuBa, Raman Hui and Bai Baihe on the red carpet. Got an autograph from Raman Hui, too.
I really like MH2 although I wasn`t much fond of the first part. Looking forward to seeing it again tomorrow afternoon. _________________ Water which is too pure has no fish.

Great pics from your first red carpet this year, Heike !
Little bear- souvenir from D.K....wow !
Looks the temperatures are very frosty in Berlin...once again
The luggage problem is annoying ..but this cannot change your good mood hopefully !
Did you like MH2 ? Have a good day, today
See you ~
Btw: The pics are very huge, Heike haha
Honestly speaking: a little hard to watch - and reading your comments at the same time
and to yitian:
The weibo- link you posted, doesn't work, unfortunatly
(I hope you will not see as a critisism dear friends )
Many thanks for your friendly efforts |

OK, got my suitcase this noon - finally.
Glad you like my pix, I will try to resize.
Today was MH2 time again. And again I honestly can say I really like it - a lot!
I`ve seen the first part and wasn`t very fond of it BUT Tony adds a lot of quality to this movie. His character is a kind hearted (loveable) rascal. Dubbing is hard to get used to though.
Part of the Berlin Wall
Nice reflection on my way back to the hotel after the screening
The ruins of Anhalter Bahnhof. I know I`ve postet this years back but I like it.
In the evening was the red carpet for "7 days in Entebbe"
German actor Daniel Brühl taking care of his fans. I was lucky and got his autograph.
Rosamund Pike stopped giving autographs centimeters away from me, you can see my photo on the very left side. I liked her as Miranda Frost in the James Bond movie Die Another Day.
The pics from the red carpet are a bit blurry but there was a lot of pushing going on and I`m happy how they turned out after all.
Let me know if I could fix the pix resolution issue.
It is freezing cold here again. I was wearing 5 layers shirts and jackets this evening. _________________ Water which is too pure has no fish.

Ha, I see your magic touch made pix in perfect sizes so one doesn't need to zoom in and out for checking descriptions and pix at the same time
Again, thanks for the effort and beautiful pix - the reflection is spectacular!
I'm amazed you know so many faces and names......
Your view of MH2 is similar to mine. Tony's part contributed to all my laughters. It would be very nice if there was a movie all about little Tutu and little Zhuzhu . |

I'm new to that photo sharing site and needed to play with the settings to do it right.
The pic with the reflexion, yes it's nice. I stood there some time to enjoy before I took the pic.
A movie about Tutu and Zhuzhu? I think Tutu needs his freedom and Zhuzhu is way to cruel. _________________ Water which is too pure has no fish. |

Many thanks for your effort, Heike !
The size of your pics is perfect now...to watching the fotos plus reading the text.
You manage each time to find interesting sights/angles of beautiful places in Berlin...I like very much !
Remembering the wild crowd , I really wonder how you manage to get autographs AND making fotos at the same time ! ( Btw: cannot see "blurry"red carpet-pics )
I'm happy for you, you obviously enjoyed Tony in MH2 very much.: For how many (and which) films more, will you try to get tickets for ?
Looking forward to seeing your today's Berlinale yield
GOOD LUCK ....and keep yourself (especially your fingers ) warm ! |

Glad you like how I see Berlin this time.
No fix plans yet for another screening. I was torn towards "7 days in Entebbe", we`ll see.
Regarding warm fingers, I`ve brought heating pads for feet and hands and that stuff is a treasure in the cold and windy weather of Berlin. _________________ Water which is too pure has no fish. |
