Hi, Helga and jing,
Happy to see you. Still 4 hours to go.
I am going to cook Toshikoshi Soba ( New Year's eve Soba noodles ) before the Count down.
See you a little bit later. |

Good to see you Anny San.
Helga,
It is very simple noodles. It is just a Japanese tradition to eat Soba on New Year's Eve.
More than 3 hours to go.
Hope to see more people later. |

Sounds good, Helga.
I like fresh herring, so I bought some salted " maatjesharing " from Holland for New Year. I am going to eat them tomorrow. (Not really Japanese tradition, ha ha ha )
2 hours to go, everyone. |

Has anyone an idea where our dear Tony currently might be ?
Having a break from work hopefully....spending a relaxed and cosy New Year's Eve
at home... with his loved ones around ? |

I also hope Tony can have some relaxed time at least this evening and tomorrow, even if he has to go back to work.
We are welcoming 2016 now in Japan.
1 hour to go in HK. |
