Soccer games start 12pm here every day, so it is really difficult for me to watch during working days ...... The final is on a Sunday, so it is not to be missed .
BTW, I noticed there is no soccer games on June 27th - it seems to me that the World Cup organizers know we have a more important thing to do .
Also, Japanese TV station WOWOW will start to show WKW collection. Some of us will be lucky enough to watch WKW movies and soccer all together .

Hey, glad some of you joined our highly qualified conversations about football/soccer here.
Wow what a day, for me it started rather sad ... but in the evening ... what a match ... what a German team ... I`m really surprised. The last few matches from the German team was everything but close to the way they have played today. For celebration I`ll have a nice dark Bavarian beer. _________________ Water which is too pure has no fish. |

Thanks Helga. They did a surprisingly marvellous job. I`m really looking forward to saturday`s match. Luckily I got saturday off.
My fingeres are still crossed for Japan. I won`t be able to see this game as well since I`ve got to work on friday.
Right now I`m waching Brazil - Maxico. Honestly I hope for a draw or even a win for Mexico. Why? The Mexican keeper is doing an amazing job tonight . I was goalkeeper in a women`s team some years ago and know how tough this job is. Right now HE is keeping his team alive. _________________ Water which is too pure has no fish. |

Being absent for some days, I'll hold my fingers crossed even though....for the next matches of your teams, dear "old" travel companions.
Best of luck ! |

Thanks and for you, whatever you are doing, take care!
Btw, I get the feeling it will be pretty quiet without you here. _________________ Water which is too pure has no fish. |

Omg, bad for England - but it`s not over yet for them. I`m curious to see the end of Italy - Costa Rica. Now it`s 0-1.
Also looking forward to Switzerland - France tonight.
Yitian, thanks for your good wishes! I also hope for Germany to go to the round of the last 16 teams. First they have to do another great job against Ghana. I`ve got tomorrow off and will sit there on my sofa with crossed fingers, wearing my jersey. And probably ageing several years. _________________ Water which is too pure has no fish.

Yitian what can I say. They didn`t do a "great" job, are lucky they didn`t lose. Several terrible errors in the defense, very good chances to make a goal left unused. That match didn`t do me any good. Against USA they have to do a lot better. _________________ Water which is too pure has no fish. |
