Dear All friends,

I am going to visit HK from this Saturday. Very Happy

As I always ask others to write a report and enjoy reading them myself, I guess it is my turn to share my experience in HK. Wink

Hope the weather is reasonably good, and it is going to be an exciting time.

I have to apologize in advance that I am not as good photographer as some of you. Confused

Haha, what a funny coincidence, I`m leaving for HK in an hour.
Didn`t want to alert you guys because I have no idea if I can post anything due to that slooowww internet they have on Lamma. Last year it took nearly one hour to upload three pics.
We could meet Eri? Idea

But nevertheless, here we go:
Yung Shue Wan ferry pier at night.

Part of the waterfront of Yung Shue Wan at night.

Today it looks like internet isn`t all that bad maybe it improved? Hope it will stay like that.

Well, thanks to my jetlag I woke up today really late. The temperture at Hung Shing Yeh beach showed 27°C and I decided to go for a little hike.
Yung Shue Wan - Sok Kwu Wan and back in 4 hours, lunchtime included. Shocked Usually it take a hiker a bit more then one hour to this hike one way. But I did it slow and easy.

But first, since some of you seam to be interested in food also:
Yesterday`s dinner, chicken with chilies at one of my favorite restaurants in Yung Shue Wan. Veeery hot but I like it.

Today`s lunch, sweet and sour pork.

Power plant, Yung Shue Wan with Power Station Beach in front, on the right Hung Shing Yeh Beach

Tin Hau temple in Sok Kwu Wan

Behind this temple is a pond with turtles

Lo So Shing beach, nice and clean and quiet.

This one is a Crested Bulbul which I learned today, a very common bird on Lamma. Shot him from my balkony.

HK seems much bigger than I thought. Thanks for the pretty pics, beautiful water, temple, bird and turtles. And, mouth watering food. I like spicy food too. Maybe you can go to BKK with ham and have her introducing you Thai food haha Laughing .
