Dear Tony,
Just read the news "A magnitude 6.6 earthquake hit four miles from Atsuma, Hokkaido, Japan, on Wednesday, the United States Geological Survey confirmed. The earthquake hit around 3:00 a.m. local time at a depth of 33.4 kilometers, southeast of Sapporo, the regional capital. A blackout was reported across Hokkaido following the earthquake, and the city of Abashiri asked residents to conserve water while the power was out. It appeared that the quake also triggered a large landslide in the town of Atsuma, The Japan Times reported....." .
Don't know where you are, but I am very worried. I sincerely hope you're away from this horror and safe. I also hope no one in the affected region gets hurt . |

Tony,
It is good to hear that you are alright.
Did you feel very strong movement ? I’ve never experienced such a strong earthquake myself.
I’ve heard that electricity, water supply and internet connection are cut off for a while, so it must be difficult. Still I believe people in Hokkaido are calm and deal with whatever they have to do.
Oh, surfing after the earthquake ? Nothing stop you enjoying yourself.
Hope the situation is improved soon. |

Hi Tony,
Happy to see your shining face here. Thanks for letting us know that you are safe. Hope everything will restore soon and back to normal. Can't imagine how you can still go surfing after all this. You must have a strong heart to handle all the tough situations. Do you also play some piano to calm down yourself ?
Anyway, glad to know that you are well. Take care & stay safe. Wish you all my best.
