The Verandah Restaurant

The Verandah is a celebrated restaurant that brings you a faultless combination of heavenly traditional Continental cuisine, blended with innovation, fine wines and discreet, attentive service, in a classic yet relaxing setting in true Peninsula style.

After getting off the bus, you will soon see the Repulse Bay beach down to the south, and the Verandah Restaurant is up to the north.

The Verandah Restaurant

This is the place where Mr. Yee and Mrs. Mak first dated in <Lust, Caution>. According to the waiters, they were sitting at the fourth table to the left hand side of the main entrance (facing the restaurant).

<Lust, Caution> Mr. Yee and Mrs. Mak. This should be the same place as that in the movie. Although the background is different, the window pillars are the same.

Panorama

This is not the Hotel Panorama. It is just a small building on the Beach Road of the Repulse Bay. 23 years ago, there was a bar here and it was the bar owned by Joey’s father in < My Heart Is That Eternal Rose>. After all these years, it is completely different now.
