This is how the dvd images actually look.
(I tried, by dead reckoning, to correct the size to how it should normally appear.)
Corrected version of this picture - not perfect, but about as close as I could get them:
A few more in large size. I did the album in small size, though, because most shots looked better small.

Thanks Jamaica for all these wonderful screen captures. Lots of work for a documentary over 3 hours long. Now I can look at them with so much more ease. |

I found mine on Ebay - a used, Region 0, with only Chinese subtitles.
If you have a multi-regional dvd player, you can get a version of the film from Britain, Region 2 PAL, with both Chinese and English subtitles. Check on Amazon U.K.: "Hero: The Documentary - Gan Lu"
I've seen, on Ebay, multi-regional dvd players, by Phillips, for around 65.00 dollars. (And if you're wanting lots of dvds from Asia, and elsewhere, a multi-regional player is a no-brainer. I need to get one, myself! )
Don't forget the aspect ratio of the picture is incorrect, so you won't be watching normal images. Lol! At three hours, though, your brain almost convinces you that the image is normal. Lol! _________________ "Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read." - Groucho Marx |
