Dear Tony,
You've probably seen the news and known about the terrible consequence of the earthquake and tsunami in North area of Japan.
We are worried about people have to survive under severe condition (some snow are expected in these areas this evening), and also the problems of Nuclear reactors in Fukushima, but I can't believe as a reality yet.
At the moment all we can do is stay calm and do show support (in whichever possible way) to the people in difficult situation.
I wish things are recovering as soon as possible with the help of other people including those from all over the world. |

Dear Mr. Leung,
Thank you very much for taking your busy time out to write this warm and thoughtful message to the people of Japan.
The most vital concern at the moment is how things will proceed at the nuclear plant failure in Fukushima. Anxiety is at the peak and we are literally glued to TV every day. While people in the devastated areas are still left to cope with food, water and other inconveniences, it is pathetic that a handful of thoughtless people are stockpiling daily commodities for
themselves. Hoarding has been in full swing for the past 2 weeks, a panic situation that first started in Tokyo. Although our area was not directly impacted by the Tohoku-Kanto earthquake, we do feel restless about the current state of affairs.
Thank you again, and a zillion hugs from Japan |
