Dear Helga and Mary,
Thank you so much for your worm message. I'm safe.
An aftershock continues. Trains amd telephones don't work usually in Tokyo.
Many people can't back to home. My friend will stay her office tonight.
I wish no more damage.

I am OK. I walked from Marunouchi (near Tokyo Station) to my home. It took for three hours.
Tohoku area is worse. Three hundred bodies found on the beach because of Tsunami. |

I was told to stay overnight at my office but went home on foot.
It took me about 3 hours but I'm lucky because many people can't go home tonight.
Big shock to see Tokyo in chaos like this …
But relieved to find main infrastructure is working properly.
Strong aftershocks are still continuing right now. I don’t think I can sleep tonight.
Hope no more damage to the northern part of Japan… |

Dear Cisca
Thank you for your concern.
I am OK.
Fortunately, my area was not affected.
It is pain to see the devastating situation in Northern part of Japan.

My dear japanese friends,
I am happy to know you are all in one piece.
I just caught the last breaking news of the night. Was busy with hub's health so I don't listen to the radio or the the tv news these days, and got it by chance.
I am praying that all you and your families and friends are well and safe.
A big hug with my prayers that things will improve - fast.
Kiss
Mimma
P.S.: the images were really horrifying, even worse than Sumatra's tsunami. But I am awed to see that most of the buildings are still standing.
Many witnesses have claimed that the concrete roads seemed like jelly.
I come from a Country subyected to earthquakes, and I have seen this phenomenon with my own eyes, when solid things seem to become liquid. Once I was answering the phone and was by chance under the arch of a door when a earthquake hit. And saw the room in front of me become... like sea waves... unforgettable. _________________ “I will write peace on your wings and you will fly all over the world”

Thank you Everyone for the warm messages and kind concern.
I am alright. Fortunately, it didn't do any damage to my area this time, but I was quite busy contacting some people visiting Japan at the moment from abroad.
Now the news about the earthquake are reported all day long.
I really hope all the people who need help are helped and survive this disaster. |
