'Red Cliff Part II' PR event in Osaka

John Woo (C), director of the Chinese epic war film ''Red Cliff Part II,'' and film cast members including Tony Leung, Takeshi Kaneshiro and Lin Chi-ling wave as they ride on a boat stuck with some 5,000 arrows in the Dotonbori canal in Osaka on April 2 as part of PR events for the film. Some 5,000 people gathered to watch the event. (Kyodo)

================
Tonight, at Osaka, Tony participated in "River carpet" event. He stepped onto the boat, and came down the river in Osaka city. At Osaka, there are a lot of rivers, and the tourist can see Osaka's town and Cherry blossams with the ship.

This time, a special ship was specially decorated with straw and 5000 arrows. 2000 moviefans in all gathered in the riverbank. Tony, other cast and Director.John Woo received "Arrow of peace" from the mayor in Osaka City in the shipboard.

After having descended the ship, they went to the premiere's hall.(Capacity is only 1100...very small...) And, they greeted in front of a lot of movie fans.

A lot of cherry blossoms were in blossom besides the hall. Because
at night, I don't know they saw cherry blossoms.

(Thanks Nancix for describing the event to us.)
