Tony's shirt from the Japanese TV interview makes a reappearance in this thread in The Tony Leung Schedule forum!

BTW Tony, if you're reading this, love the cool shirt! |

Raphael, thanks for telling us which brand Tony's shirt is. I've been wondering ever since I first saw it. I didn't know Dolce & Gabbana produced shirts that quirky! |

What a curious tee shirt! But what is reassuring is that he wears his stuff more than once. I often get the impression that some film stars wear something once and then throw it away! Tony is far too grounded to do something like that.
My friend Suzanne and I are so looking forward to seeing this film. I got it coming in the post so any day now there will be a Tony film show (with nibbles) in my home...a triple bill no less! _________________ Sheila

Noticed Tony's most original tie during the press conference ?
It's a Hermes Manifeste tie (limited edition, one model) created by the French brand in 2008 to defend & promote ties in men's wardrobes after a few years of dislike. 'Manifeste' means manifesto in French.......
The black suit he's wearing is tailormade as hinted by the 2 last cuff buttons that Tony carefully left undone...... The working cuff buttons aren't usually found on ready made jackets. |

Thanks for the information Raphael,
Oh, it is Hermes limited edition after all.
But it is ironical if it's for "defend & promote ties in men's wardrobes", because Tony probably would like to avoid ties as much as possible. |

hmm I guess he first wore it bc he enjoyed its blatant and fresh design.....
Tony may seldom wear ties in his everyday life but he probably doesn't mind wearing one if necessary...... esp. such an outstanding one |

Hi everybody
"Il fumo uccide" means "Smoke Kills".
Thanks Rafael for the brands identification.
Bye
