HI Kerilyn,

Hmmm...That's a tough one. What to do! Tony in any thing is great to me, so it's all about the Directors. John Woo worked with Tony befor. Pure adrenalin rush. Lots of action and plot twists. Woo dose what I call "Dancing Bullets." Hunter Yeh! Wong Kar Wai puts real emotion to a sound track. You almost feel like your intruding in the lives of the charecters, realism set to music. Ang Lee I call him "The Total Director," Because He takes on anything and everything. From period pieces : Sense and Sensibility and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, to Broke Back Mountain. My favorite is The Wedding Banquet. What ever director gets their hands on Tony, the only real winner is US! thumbright

Hmmm, the voting function doesn't work here.

This would be my order:
1. The Battle of Red Cliff - John Woo
2. Confession of Pain - Andrew Lau
3. Lust, Caution - Ang Lee
4. [yet unnamed novel adaptation] - Lawrence Block
5. Legend of Ip Man - Wong Kar Wai

Well since I'm a big fan of The Romance of the Three Kingdoms, I would have to go with The Battle of Red Cliff. And I would like to see how Tony portrays the great Zhuge Liang.

I read on the paper that Chang Chen will play Sun Quan.
They are still looking for actors to play - Lu Bei, Cao Cao, Guan Yu & Zhang Fei.

For me, it's between "Lust, Caution" and "The Battle of Red Cliff".

I'll give a slight edge to "Lust, Caution" - as it would be Tony's first collaboration with Ang Lee, and I'm also intrigued by the character he'll play.

I'll vote for "Lust, Caution". It would be interesting to see what Tony would be like under the direction of Ang Lee. We have two great masters at work here!

Plus I would like to see him speaking in Mandarin too! Very Happy

Thanks Sandy and all... for letting us to talk about more Very Happy and to put our cast into a film each fan love to see or expect most! and or into where where tony puts his endevour and passion for his expressions and life!

well...actually i have not decided yet ... since for me... it is a bit difficult to tell until i watch each film ...but anyway i looking forward to all... i would say... every film would and could have each maximum good and very best of tony as always with all...with each...
so then i looking forward to every film on the list!
good day from every rainy cloudy day in tokyo ...
(please be cautious and hold on even at the very verge on difficulties...at any place of this earth; for example, japan has suffered from heavy rain falling...while many areas have suffered from lack of water and food... Tackling with natural disasters is also something to put its priority more than before by each individual motivatoin, thoughtfulness and insight..for all by all...as i wrote already... The necessity to allocate more resources into natural disaster prevention and fullfilment of those is more serious than, maybe, the one which people would have thought of before...)

dearest tony love

Oh, 7thclouds... I realize this is a discussion about Tony's movies, but I agree with you about the natural disasters. There has been so much flooding, earthquakes, tsunami's, typhoons/hurricanes, tornados and drought. That's why I feel Mother Earth is angry at us. Too many people suffer.

Crying or Very sad
