believe word 'date' no longer applies to them. they have been 'living together' openly for years. this is a common law marriage by all intents & purposes. she can even sue him for palimony if they ever break up.
maybe another reason they're not making it legal.why 'ruin' a good thing-- they get 'married', probably get divorce within months. It happens all the time.
