It's so good to see the forum up and running again. Did some hacker mess up the site? What's with the gibberish at the forum index? The few days of down time makes me appreciate the forum more. Kind of miss interacting with the friends here. Let's all try to make this place a nice place yah?

Remember lengyuhan from BTLT who met Tony in Seoul, and mu99le has posted the pictures she has taken of him at the Picture section under Tony Meeting Fans in Korea (004.11.24). She has written an article on her meeting with Tony, and has agreed to share her experience with fellow Tony fans here. Thanks again Jiang Jiang. I'll post the original message for those who read Chinese, and I shall follow up with a translation for those who don't. As the article is pretty long, I shall be doing it by instalment.

我在凌晨4点醒来，我感觉那个黑色的身影还在，他在慢慢模糊，慢慢远离，脸上依然有着微笑，更清晰的是难掩的疲惫，我想哭，想大喊，想奔跑，想抓住，想……我拼命的想，于是我醒来，原来一切都是梦……
醒来的我终于知道一切已经过去，不管我作错什么，作过什么，我坐在汉城开往釜山的24日晚11：00开出的最后一班木公花号列车上，而现在是25日凌晨的4：00。列车已经进站，我不过是在列车员的催促下必须马上下车的乘客而已，那之前的一切都已经过去，梦境也只是梦境，忽然我开始流泪，面对凌晨漆黑的天空，没有霓虹的街道，没有温度的自己，因为我已经离开汉城，离开TONY的身边，一切，只能用来怀念……
偶尔在大妈的网站上看到消息，因为上课时候中文的网页打不开，听说TONY因为语言的问题基本不离开酒店，只在房间里吃泡菜，还有，他的腰最近不好，不晓得是不是因为排戏太累的缘故……这些话一直在我脑子里面转，我觉得好难过哦，想他，特别想亲眼看看他,想到头痛，甚至想到流泪，但是也只能想想，没有人能够帮我，直到那个仙女的出现……请允许我称她为仙女吧，因为我真的想象不出别的词来，或者是天使？天使是没有性别的吧，先说关键的。因为学校也刚好有假期，所以我去了，来到汉城，这个韩国人也趋之若骛的城市，这个韩国人口中，所谓世界级的现代大都市。出了汉城站的大门口，空气都带有一丝丝冰凉，已经快12月了，汉城的天气也接近0度了，不知道TONY，受不受得了，因为他一向好怕冷，我们也怕，于是照着地铁图在纵横交错的8条复杂地铁线上寻找那个叫做“三成”的站名，那里离TONY就很近了。
酒店的设施真的一般，如果这就是所谓的超5星级也有点太……不过听说TONY住的是总统套，我觉得应该不错吧。我站在那洞足有50多层的楼前，清洗大楼的水不断的流过我的脚边，我的心情忐忑，一如第一次和TONY见面之前,我不知道等待着我的究竟是什么，我只有抱着仅有的一点希望，希望还再人间吧。我们在外边站了一会，天气冷，又到里边站了一会，等不到人，一个会说中文的人，于是我们决定和酒店打听一下，也许有奇迹呢？我们先介绍了自己是外国人，我对这一点其实是颇有微词的，再中国可能会因为一句我是外国人而得到礼遇，而再韩国，一句我是外国人给你带来的就是无限的排挤和限制，从他们不允许外国人申请购买手机等就可以不言而喻。果然，办理手续的先生客气的让我写了TONY的英文名字，全部拼音，然后确定是不是住在这里等等问题，我当然是用韩语来回答的，包括提问，但当他们在另一台机器上找到之后一边用韩语说找到了，一边互相使眼色，问我TONY是不是演员，我说是，他说没有，我觉得很奇怪，继续问他，结果他就说我的韩语他听不懂，那之前呢？也是我说的韩语，你怎么就能听懂呢？我很生气，打了电话给朋友，他在韩国已经生活了5年，语言和韩国人没有什么区别，男人十分不礼貌的说话，然后在我的朋友还没有说完话就把电话给了我，这就是所谓的最有礼貌的民族……
第二天的一早我们又来到酒店等，不知道TONY是出去排戏了还是在房间休息，总之我们等了一天都毫无结果，最可怕的事就是酒店安排了人来监视我们，他不是大门进来的，穿着随便，而且一坐下就吃一个没有包装的羊肝羹，然后一直看着我们，我们分析是身后一个有着小方便面发型的人找来的，因为我们长时间的在他面前出现。没有办法，我们只得溜达到后门去，听到一个说香港话的姐姐从下边的商场走上来，我们问问情况，听说今天没有戏，为了明早的早戏，大家都已经休息了。
只好明天再来，早点，说不定可以赶上TONY出门呢？明天大概是我们最后的机会。第二天一早就看到韩国人拿着东西在装车，我们以为TONY要出来了，很兴奋的等在门口，早上的阳光很亮，依然有清洗大楼的水流过脚边，我听到他们说新沙新沙什么的，等到人全部鱼贯而出，酒店的门口忽然显得清净了，原来TONY已经一早出发了。

拍摄的地点就是新沙，这是情报，哈哈，消息是封锁的，现场也是封锁的，但是楼是新建的，房子也是暴露的，所以行人都看得到排戏的状态，那是一撞临时的楼吧，除了玻璃和铁皮没有别的装饰，只有顶楼是很漂亮的，白色栏杆和楼梯，还有着露台，那里大概就是所谓的拍摄现场了吧，因为我们尽力的解释自己是中国的FANS，春光无限的，把仙女的名字也抬出来，所以没有被赶走，是春光造福了自己吧，没有姐妹就没有今天的一切。天灰蒙蒙的，听说明天有雨，天气很冷，我们渐渐失去了知觉，看到有人送可乐来，韩国外卖的炸鸡，看来剧组也吃的和我们差不多，我们竟也不觉得饿，因为我们一直想见到他的情景是怎么样的，5天来我们都觉得自己做了精神病，没有家也没有方向，如果今天再不成功，我们除了跳汉江，也没有别的方法，居然出现了老乌龟（我），毛猩猩和大白狗（拍照片的同学）等等的话题，一群疯子~~~~
多亏环亚的老板林建岳的到来，剧组提前下班，我们在看到和他搭戏的韩国小明星之后，TONY终于现身了，我的面冲向眼前的大玻璃，背对着楼梯口，直到我同学用手指捅我：TONY，我麻木的转过身，看着拾级而下的他，他穿着厚厚的黑色羽绒服，眉心皱成一团，我浑身发抖，最不好的预感从心底一直生到头顶，是我们的到来影响了他的工作吧，之前他一直都是早班的，连夜的赶戏，不断的拍，脸色更是少有的苍白和憔悴，或许他会觉得我们很不懂事，不体谅他，事实是我们确实没有好好体谅他啊，我内心不断交战着，面无表情，同学很是担心，害怕我看见梁朝伟傻掉了。就这样TONY从楼梯上下来了，站在我的面前，一时间我什么也说不出来，只能看着他，到是他先开了口：你们穿的这么少不冷么？
眼泪就要夺眶而出，他居然是在担心我们的状况？他太好了，没有语言可以形容的好早在我还没有见过他的时候就了解到，但是自己面对的时候，那种好排山倒海的朝你涌过来，你根本无力招架。同学在一边去包里取相机，其实她本不想这么做的，她也多想看看TONY啊，仔细的，认真的，但是眼泪已经涌出来了，没有办法止住，只好找借口背过身去。
TONY，你还好么？身体好么？排戏是不是很累？我沙哑着声音，喉咙发紧。
很累啊，真的很累，汉城天气又好冷，每天都是早班啊，好累。他说，靠在墙边不住的摇头。
我滴下泪来，这和记者写的根本不一样啊，看来TONY只有跟他的FANS才能说说心里的感受，不然又会给人家写。
然后我问了他最近的活动安排，他说就一直排戏，不会有回去的时间。因为排戏真的很累 ，还要有好多的动作啊，然后……他说道这里忽然停了，然后笑眯眯的看着我同学说：你是不是要和我合影啊？我同学一时语塞，因为他拿出相机是为了掩盖自己哭的事实的，但是TONY却很贴心的问了这个问题，她看着我求助，我也不知道怎么说好，一时间，她看着我，TONY看见她看着我也看着我，大家都看着我，我完全不知道说什么？我想和他说太累不要合影了，想说我们只看看你就好，可是他那么微笑的看你，问你要不要合影，我见过他这是第3次了，如果分开每个小活动来看就已经6次了，还没有和他的合影，我怎么会不想要呢？TONY开始摇摇晃晃的楼梯间里走来走去，说：这里不好吧，黑黑的，要不我们去外边？
不要，外边太冷了，还是这里吧，这里就好。我们说。哦。TONY折回来，站在一个门的前边，我再他对面看着他很可爱的走来走去，忽然觉得自己太幸福了，我象个白痴一样幸福着，TONY已经站好再那里等着合影，我忘记是谁推了我一把，说你先去，我就去了，站在TONY身边，留下我和他的第一张珍贵合影
汉城5日流浪记（下）

之后我们开始了聊天，问的问题傻呼呼的，问他嘉玲还会不会来看他之类的问题啊，对了，之前拍照的时候他问我，为什么不在汉城留学？我说是因为学校的交换。然后问我们学校不上课么？我说因为这周有活动，我们没有参加活动，所以来了。他又问是来玩的么？我说不是，是专程来看他的……情绪一时间有些低落，这几日以来的痛苦回忆又全部涌上来，我好想和他说说我们的苦，但是看着他憔悴的脸又怎么说出口呢？他一点都没有怪我们的意思，反而让我们的心理十分的感动……后来我送了礼物给他，他很腼腆低头笑，说，以后再来看我不用再给我买东西了。然后还拿着送的暖手炉说，这个我也有哎，我说TONY你会使用么？（本来我想教他的）结果他说，当然会啊，不是就这样叭叭的？（用手一直比画，哈哈）好可爱^*^
TONY将礼物带子放在胸前，面对面和我说话，那是怎么样的一双眼睛，虽然有着血丝和疲倦，但是依然那么动人，我感觉自己的心跳在加快，然后越来越快，他是那么认真的看着你的嘴巴，仔细的听你说的是什么。我问TONY来韩国最不适应是什么？他很忽然变的很激动，声音也大了起来：“汉城的天气太冷了，而且吃的也太不好了，都是些生的，我不明白他们为什么在那么冷的天吃一些凉的和生的东西，你知道广东人是不喜欢吃辣的，完全不行，可能北方人好点吧。”
然后看着我，我笑西西的说，“不行不行，我就是北方人，我也不吃辣和生的。”
TONY又说，“不过北方人大多数还好一点吧，”我说“是的，TONY看杂志说你来韩国常吃烧考和泡菜？”
“ 韩国的烧考太肥了，我完全不喜欢吃，还有辣的，我也不喜欢。”脸上表情好可怜。
“其实去大陆排戏也挺好的，因为那边有很多小炒啊，都很好吃。”
“是啊，很多不同风格的菜都有的吃。”~~~~我们和TONY一起望着天花板，好象回到了国内吃很多好的东西……
我象突然想起什么的TONY，你的腰怎么样了：“前阵子听说不太好，最近呢？有没有好点？”
TONY转了转自己的腰，羽绒服那么厚，谁能看见腰啊？呵呵，可爱的极！！！
“最近没有什么了。好了好了，就是最近好象胖了，”
“胖了？胖了么？”
“你看我是不是胖了？”
“没有啊，哪有。吃的都不好了，怎么会胖？”这家伙不是又要减肥了吧，拜托他已经瘦的不行了呢。
“其实我胖和瘦都不是因为我吃东西的多少，主要是因为喝酒……”声音越来越小，头也低下去了，象个作错事的孩子，他大概知道按照惯例又要被念了吧。这里大概是最有趣的地方，TONY手扶在一边的栏杆上，另一只手放在口袋里，地下头看地板，然后用穿着运动鞋的前脚掌蹭地，“那个最近啊，是喝很多酒啊……”
“TONY，你又喝酒拉？尽量少喝点吧，吃的都不好了，总是喝酒怎么行呢？身体能受得了呢？”我开始在一旁念经。
“可是人家，人家，就这么一个，一个……”边蹭地边想词呢。。哈哈
“就这么一个爱好了是么？”我接下去。
“是，就这么一个爱好了！！！”话说的很委屈。
“TONY，韩国的喝酒文化好发达的，你要小心哦，人家一旦知道你能喝就会叫你喝好多的。”这是真的，所以TONY抬起头很认真的看我。哎呀，真想多劝他两句，可是那个眼睛一看你，谁还说的出话来？

TONY的助理哥哥人很好，自己提着一个大箱子一个大口袋也一直站在一边，我想是真的没有地方可以坐下来吧，所以尽管TONY和他都很累，也只是微笑并不说什么，这份温馨至少让我们感到与天气不同的温暖。我们和TONY聊天的时候他要求帮我们拍一张大合影，其实加上TONY也就只有四个人，我们想是不是不要了，因为他们都很累了，再说刚才已经分别合过影了，“TONY……”我刚想开口，“好啊，好啊。”TONY摇摇手叫我的同学过来，顺势就拉我到身边，好象可爱的大熊猫哦，我没有再开口拒绝，因为我看着他侧脸口水都要滴下来了，哪里还顾的上说话？合完影之后，tony问：“你们都会说韩语吗？”“会一些，我们也是刚来韩国不久，所以会的也不多……”“那买东西应该没问题吧？”“一般没有问题……”“我一句都不会~买东西也不方便。”“那TONY你来汉城之后有出去逛逛么？”“逛逛也是再附近啊，因为我不管去哪里都要坐计程车，可是开车的都不会讲英文……”大概这个时间舒淇出来了，披着一个几乎到脚背的黄色棉衣，身后跟着几个头发全白的助理，拿着化装箱之类的，舒淇从楼上下来，听见我们和TONY说国语，然后就和我们打招呼，说Hi，你好！我们没有时间搭理她，再说我一直不喜欢她，所以我只是抬头看了她一眼，头发特别黄，还很乱，状也很浓，我们三个人忙的不行，没有人和她说话，到是TONY，连忙和她说明天见，我们就想啊，TONY人真的是好好。中间还有老马他们走下来，TONY也用粤语和他们打招呼，有人问他干吗？他说我的中国的FANS来看我了，和他们聊聊天。然后老马叫他不要误了晚上的饭局，他就点点头，然后和我说：“那个这个电影的老板来了，要我们陪他吃饭，哎呀，都没有提前通知我一下，我事先都不知道。”我说“是环亚的老板林建岳么？”“是啊，是啊，你知道？”“TONY，那晚上回去还是不能马上休息么？”“当然不能了，而且，晚上又要喝酒了。”然后嘴巴嘟起来，真是太可爱了。后来我们拿出一些以前的照片给他看，问他电影节时候我们去送他不知道他还有没有一点点印象？他说“当然有！”然后怪怪的看了我一眼，好象觉得理所应当，我就不该问，呵呵，我们其实特别高兴，其实只要能看见他，我们根本不在乎他是不是有印象，只要他知道有我们在一直关心他也就够了。我拿出地铁上的报纸给他看，想他自己在韩国做的访问应该自己也没有看过的吧，所以就拿出来给他，然后我问他：“TONY这是不是和2046签名会一天做的访问啊？”他立刻说：“不是，不是，真的不，是另一天。”就是我在相册版说的那个，我们就笑拉，看他认真的样子。他也笑了，问：“这个报纸是免费的还是要买的？”“是免费的，都放在地铁里给大家看，其实韩国的报纸大部分都是免费的。”我解释到，因为不象TONY想太多，“但是照的真的很漂亮，看我都拿了好多，来回做了好多班地铁呢。”然后给他看看我的口袋里好多的报纸。“啊，你们喜欢就好，呵呵。”然后认真的看起来，“TONY这个是早上7点的报纸，所以访问时间就是早上7点么？”“是啊，做了访问就立刻排戏了。”他说，眼睛一直没有离开报纸，然后就抬头问我“你们有笔么？”我知道他是想给我们签名了，所以很快的拿出笔来，TONY一边签一边很无辜的说：“哎呀，怎么不好用啊？”原来因为天气太冷，我们又长时间站在外面，所以笔居然都冻住了^_^
后来我们又换笔给他，然后拿出早先从国内背来的CD给他签名，还拿了好些韩国出的杂志给他看，其实韩国杂志选的TONY的照片有的真的很不理想，他看看之后问我：“你们有看过2046么？”我说：“当然有啊，在釜山电影节的时候啊。”“哦，对，对，我刚才忘了。”可爱的TONY你根本不必和我们解释什么啊。“后来电影节结束之后有追加上映我们也去看了呢。”“是吗？你们喜欢吗？”“当然喜欢，你演的特别好，只是里边的造型如果是现在的样子就更喜欢了。TONY，你喜欢你在2046里边的造型么？”“其实基本有胡子的我都不太喜欢，粘假的很难过的。但是角色需要吗，有的时候是没有办法的。”看，多么敬业的一个好演员啊！！！“其实你有胡子也很好看，成熟，不过我们更喜欢现在这样的你，特别帅哦。”“哈哈，是么？”这句话显然比较受用，TONY笑了好久呢，我们也是实话实说，他真的是个魅力无边的人。
同学在韩国买了春光乍泄的OST给他签名，然后他打开里面赙赠的卡片看，很激动的和我说：“看我那时是不是很瘦啊？”天，怎么又讨论到这个问题，我可不要他因为减肥搞坏身体，平时已经三餐不济了。“啊，其实我现在差不多。”我仔细看看那张裸着上半身侧面吸烟的卡片，说实话那是我最喜欢的一张“YONY，其实你身材很不错啊，看起来瘦瘦的还是有肌肉的。”“那时候我每天跑步，在阿根廷的时候，生活也很规律，有锻炼啊身材就还好。”谦虚什么，任何时候看你都觉得身材不错，哈哈。
时间飞快的流逝吧，转眼间接近一个钟头的时间就过去了，中间还有两个韩国的女孩子用一张白色的卡片给他要他签名，他拿着我们的签字笔，不停在空中画，说韩语的“签名，签名。”（韩语的签名和英文差不多，但显然TONY说的是韩文的版本，因为发音生硬）两个女孩不停点头，我惊叫“TONY，你会说韩语的签字么？”他冲我眨眨眼，调皮的不行。TONY和我说：“那这个你先帮我拿着，”是他正在看的图片，“好”我美的差点飞上天，看他给韩国女孩子签名，签过名之后她们还是没有要走的意思，TONY时间也要来不及了，我们决定和TONY告别，不要再让他在这里冷着，剧组叫的炸鸡外卖他都没有吃，不喜欢油腻的东西，哎，可怜的小孩。
“TONY，是不是时间要来不及拉？”“没有啊，你们还有没有要签名的？”“没有没有，TONY，你已经和我们说了这么久了，很累也很冷吧？”“我看是你们比较冷，穿的那么少。”“才不会，我们看见你就感觉不到冷了。”“釜山应该比较暖一点吧。”“是要暖一点的，TONY你要是去釜山排戏就好了，不会那么冷。”“是啊，我都想去呢，以后有机会吧。”“那我还是希望你不要来韩国排戏，吃也吃不好，多受罪啊。”“也还好，对了，你们晚上怎么办啊？去哪里啊？”“我们要回去釜山了，做夜里的车回去。TONY，你回去一定好好休息啊……”我已经开始舍不得他了。“哦，那你们坐车要小心点哦，下次什么时候我们还有机会再见呢？”“TONY，春节会开始宣传么？”“现在还不一定啊，不过我每年都要过生日的，6月啊，你可以来参加，那时候我们再见面啊。”“大概是在什么地方开？”“还不是北京之类的地方！”“那时候你也不记得我是谁了吧。”“不会哦，我一定记得的。真的。”表情肯定而且真诚。我亲爱的TONY，就算你骗我都好，有你这句话，我死了都值得了……“晚上你们去哪里？”又来了，“晚上坐车回釜山啊，”我没有揭穿他，不过心理很想笑就是了，TONY表生气，大家表打偶哦。然后他开始下楼梯，最后的诀别也开始了，我已经感觉双腿在发抖，几乎要站不住，我跟着他一直走到楼梯口，TONY还一直回头要我们保重身体，小心感冒，下次再见，我几乎是哭着说：TONY，你要保重自己啊，注意身体，注意休息……他带给我们的太多，而我们所能做的实在太少了，除了一句句要他为自己也为我们珍重的话，别的什么也做不到，看着他那么疲惫也不能帮他分担，心理好痛，针扎一样。TONY越来越远，我很担心他一直回头不要在楼梯上摔倒了就好，“TONY小心台阶啊”我大喊，他转过来微微一笑，说：“江江，你要好好读书哦。BYEBYE。”一直的挥手，一直的微笑，直到他转到再一层的楼梯下，他还回过头来，看到我伸出的脑袋就微笑着挥手，我就那么站着，看他离开，一直到扶住楼梯扶手上的手都消失不见为止。我不知道我怎么了，时间静止了么？还是血液静止了？是因为他的那句好好学习么？前面还加了我的名字？我只听说后来同学匆匆收拾的包，片厂是不可以久留的，然后拉着痴呆的我走出去，好远了，我们看着这撞楼，想着TONY，终于控制不住的大哭，抱头痛哭成了每次和TONY结束见面的一个必修课，是他太好了，也是我们太幸运了。

其实我真的曾经怨恨过阿伟迷会的大妈们，因为他们没有怀着一颗与TONY一样淡然博爱的心去生活，TONY不是他们的明星，她们凭什么摆出一副惟我独尊的样子？现在想想也不能怪她们，毕竟她们的会员是收费的，每次活动谁交的钱多带谁，所以所谓一手的消息大概也是花钱买的，不然她们收那么多钱难道是为了给TONY买东西么？于是不能理解为什么韩国的FANS每次看见他都要狂折腾他一番了，不管他多累多辛苦，，头发是否凌乱，衣装是否随意，三五十张相片少不了，签名大合影也少不了，总之抓到机会就是一阵猛拍，当然了，人家是付出了“物质”来的，不努力点怎么对得起自己的血汗钱？何况目前韩国经济正处于大低谷。可怜TONY老好人，对要求向来不懂拒绝，，宁可辛苦自己也不愿意影迷失望，所以，我想这大概是阿伟迷会和春光同作为TONY的FANS CLUB精神世界完全背道而驰的最主要原因了。许我多说几句废话，看了佩如和嘉惠在台湾的遭遇，我生气，咒骂，愤恨的同时也感到庆幸了，无论TONY的韩国FANS是如何的自私势力，但最起码他们是爱TONY的，尽管他们中大多数人不了解他，不体谅他，但至少不会说些屁话让他心理不痛快，如果给我知道他们说什么，我真怕自己控制不住打扁她的脸……
话题扯的远了。我曾经很自私的想我看到TONY一定要把阿伟迷会的人的坏心和他讲，虽然我当时也想过TONY会不会不高兴，但是仇恨蒙蔽了我的心，但是当我真真正正站在他的面前，我是那么难得才能看见他，我完全忘记了这件事，是TONY的大度感染了我吧，他那么累还能和我们见面，给我们的不知道弥补了多少倍她们给我们的痛苦，一切也都在这见面的过程中烟消云散。我很清楚我来是干什么的，我是背负所有问候和祝愿来的，只要TONY感觉到温暖，感觉到春光处处都在关心他，就足够了。
去年的12月24日平安夜，那是我这辈子最黄金的一个圣诞节吧，我终于亲身体会到TONY的好，一年之后的现在，这好象纯酒一样发酵，膨胀，香气持久……一年可以发生的变化太大太大，一年可以聆听的故事太多太多，无论有快乐也好，伤怀也罢，铭记在心或者全部忘记，之于我A

This article is written by Jiang Jiang also known as lengyuhan of BTLT, who has made the arduous journey from Pusan to Seoul to see Tony. Jiang Jiang is a Chinese girl studying in Korea. She has met with many unpleasant moments in her quest, but her perseverance finally paid off. She has kindly agreed to share her story here with us in tonyleung.org. My translation is not a word by word of her original article, but more of an account of her journey and her meeting with Tony from a third party angle.

JJ has read about Tony’s news on the net, read that Tony spent most of his time eating in the hotel due to language barrier, and his back is feeling unwell lately. She really wanted to see him but could not find a way to, until the appearance of someone, whom she refers to as “Fairy”. As it was school holiday, she went to Seoul in search of Tony. The temperature in Seoul in December is close to zero degree. She is worried that Tony might not be able to withstand the cold since he is afraid of the cold. They took the underground to Tony’s hotel.

The facilities at the hotel is just average for a 5 star hotel. Maybe Tony’s suite is better since he is in the Presidential suite. They stood outside for a while, as the weather was cold, they went inside. They couldn’t find anybody who speaks Chinese, so they decided to talk to someone from the hotel. They introduced themselves as foreigners ( JJ is skeptical about foreigners being treated politely in Korea), and gave them Tony’s name and asked if the guest is staying here. The front desk people went to check on a machine, and said in Korean that they found it. They eyed each other and asked JJ if Tony is the actor. When she said yes, they told her that he isn’t here. When JJ tried to enquire further, the hotel staff told her that he doesn’t understand her Korean. She called a friend who has a better command in Korean to talk to the hotel staff, but the hotel staff passed the phone back to JJ even before her friend finished talking.

The next morning, they again returned to the hotel to wait, not knowing if Tony is out filming, or resting in the hotel. They waited for him the whole day in vain. The hotel has also arranged for someone to spy on them. They had no choice but to move to the back, where they met a young lady speaking Cantonese. She told them that there was no filming that day, and that everyone retired early, as there was early filming the next day.

They came to the hotel early the next day, and saw some people loading stuff into the car. Thinking that Tony will be out shortly, they eagerly waited for him. The group was muttering something about Shin Shah and soon everyone was out. They learnt that Tony has already set off earlier.

The filming location was in Shin Shah. The piece of information is classified. The location itself was also highly guarded. The building is newly constructed and the place is exposed, which means the passerby would be able to see the filming. It might have been a temporary building as there is nothing else besides glass and metal sheets. Only the roof is nicely decorated, with white railings, stairs and a patio. That must be the filming location. They explained that they are Tony’s Chinese fans from BTLT, and even tell them the name of the fairy, and so were not chased away. It was really cold that day, and they were starting to get numbed from the biting cold. They saw someone distributing coke and griledl chicken wings on the set. They did not feel hunger, as they were eager to see Tony. After spending 5 days in search of him, they were determined to succeed that day.

Thanks to the arrival of Media Asia Films boss, the filming ended early. Jiang Jiang finally saw Tony. Tony was all wrapped up in a black thick downs feather coat, frowning as he came down the stairs. He was looking pale and tired. Not knowing what to do or say, they just looked at him. It was Tony who spoke first. He asked them “You are wearing so little, aren’t you cold?” They were moved by Tony’s concern for them. Afraid that Tony will see the tears, JJ’s friend turned around and pretend to search for the camera. JJ asked in a trembling voice if Tony is well, and if the filming is tiring. He leaned against the wall and shook his head “ Tired, really tired. Seoul is extremely cold, and has to do early morning filming everyday, really tiring.”

JJ went on to ask him about activities planned. He said that he’ll be filming and is unlikely to have time to go back. That’s a lot more filming and action scenes and….He stopped at smile at JJ’s friend, asking if she wanted to take a photograph with him. The friend was at a loss for words at Tony’s thoughtfulness. She was using the camera to hide her tears. She turned and looked at JJ, to which Tony saw and turned to look at JJ as well. With everyone looking at her, she doesn’t know what to say. She wanted to say it’s alright since Tony is so tired. But when he smiled so sweetly at her, and she has not had a chance to take a photograph with him, she very much wanted to say yes. Tony walked around the staircase area, saying “It’s no good here, too dark, shall we go outside?”

They declined, since it is too cold outside. Tony turned back and stood near a door. JJ felt really happy to be able to stand opposite Tony, looking so cute walking about. Tony was ready for the photograph, and JJ finally was able to stand next to Tony and took a much treasured photograph with him.

They started chatting. Tony asked them why aren’t they studying in Seoul, and why they don’t have classes. They explained that it is a inter-school exchange programme, and that the school was having an activity week (which they chose not to attend). He asked them if they are here on a holiday, and they replied that they are here specially to see him. All the memory of the past few days welled up, and JJ wanted to poured it all out to Tony. But seeing his tired face, she stopped herself. JJ gave him a hand warmer as a present. He smiled and told them not to buy anything for him the next time they come to see him. He held the hand warmer in his hand, and said he has the same thing. JJ asked if Tony knew how to use it, to which he said “Of course I know, you just “ba ba” like this” Using his hand to illustrate what he means. He looked really cute doing that.

Tony held the present to his chest, and chatted with them. Although his eyes has red veins and tired, it was still a pair of mesmerizing eyes. JJ could felt her heart beating faster and faster. He stares intently at their mouth as they speak, listening intently to what they say.

They asked what is the thing that he is not used to being in Korea. He suddenly became worked up, and in a louder voice, he said “ Seoul is too cold, and food is not so good. Mostly raw stuff. I don’t understand why they eat cold ad raw stuff in such cold weather. You know Cantonese doesn’t like spicy food.Maybe the Northerners fares better.” He looked at JJ, and she smiled and say she can’t take spicy food and raw food either although she is a Northerner. Tony said in general they should adapt better, to which JJ replied “yes”.

JJ asked about him eating Korean BBQ and kimchi regularly reported in the magazine. “Korean BBQ is too fatty, I don’t like it. And spicy food, I don’t like it too.” He said this with a forlorn expression. “Actually filming in mainland China is good, there are a lot of things to eat, and they are all delicious”. “Yah, and there a lot of different style of food too.”JJ agreed.

JJ suddenle remembered Tony’s back, and asked if he is better. Tony twist his waist and said “ It’s alright. It’s better, it’s better. But I put on weight recently.” He asked them if he looks plumper. They replied “No. You have not been eating well, why would you gain weight?” They are hoping that he will not go on a diet since he is already so thin.

“Actually my weight is not so much affected by how much food I eat, it’s mainly drinking….”He lowered his head and his voice became softer. Probably expecting to be reprimanded. He was holding the railing with one hand, and the other hand in his pocket. His head lowered, and the ball of the front foot on the ground as he said “Recently I have been drinking a lot…” JJ said that he looked really adorable here. JJ asked him not to drink too much since he has not been eating well, and his body may not be able to take it. “but, but, I only have one…” “fondness ?”JJ continued. “Yes, only this fondness!!!.” JJ warned Tony of the drinking culture in Korea. If it is known that a person can hold his drink well, they’ll make you drink a lot. Tony looked at JJ earnestly as she said this.

Tony’s assistant was carrying a big bag and a big box standing by the side. There wasn’t anywhere to sit. Although Tony and him must both be tired, they were still smiling and did not say anything. This warmth is a stark contrast to the chilling temperature. While they were chatting, Tony’s assistant offered to take photograph for them. JJ wanted to decline since Tony must be really tired, but Tony just waved for her friend to come over, and pulled JJ to his side. JJ did not protest as she was already drooling looking at his handsome side profile.

After having taken the group photograph, Tony asked them if they knew how to speak Korean. JJ said they know a little since they haven’t been in Korea for long. Tony said that he doesn’t know Korean at all, and it is very inconvenient when it comes to buying things. JJ asked Tony if he has been around Seoul. Tony said that he has only been around the area (near his hotel). To go anywhere else is means taking the cab, and the cab drivers do not understand English. Shu Qi appeared with her assistants, hearing them speaking Chinese, she said “Hi.How are you?” to them. Her hair was messy and yellow, and she had a thick make-up on. Tony said to her “See you tomorrow.” Then Jingle (I like his name. So festive.) came along, and reminded Tony about dinner that night. Tony told them that the boss is here, so they are going to have dinner with him. He wasn’t informed earlier, and doesn’t know about it. JJ said that he won’t be able to rest then. He said “Of course not, furthermore, I have to drink”. He pouted his lips as he said that.

JJ took out some photos that they took of him, and asked him if he remembered seeing them at Pusan. He said “Of course” and gave them as strange look, as if they shouldn’t even need to ask. JJ and friends were very happy that they get to see Tony at all, and wouldn’t even mind if he has no impression of them. JJ showed him the interview in the newspaper, and asked him if the interview was given at the same day as 2046 autograph session. He said it was given on another day, to which they laughed at Tony’s earnestness. Tony laughed too. He asked if the publication is free or did they have to buy it. JJ explained that the publication is free and is placed at the subway for commuters to read. Actually, most newspaper publications in Korea are free. JJ really liked the photograph and has taken a few rides on the subway to pick up the papers. She showed Tony the stack in her pocket. Tony laughed and said that he is glad they liked it. He turned back to the newspaper and examined it. JJ asked if the interview was done at 7am, and Tony said it is, and he had to start filming right after the interview. His eyes never left the newspaper while he was talking. He then lifted his head and asked JJ if she had a pen. JJ knew he was going to give them an autograph and quickly took out the pen. As the weather was cold and they have been standing in the cold for some time, the ink in that pen was frozen. JJ then replaced the pen.

JJ took out some CDs for him to sign, and took out more photos to show him. Tony asked them if they had watched 2046. JJ said they watched it in Pusan. He asked them if they liked it. JJ said they do, and asked if he liked his looks in 2046. He said that he doesn’t like sticking fake moustache. JJ said he looks good with moustache too, more mature, but he prefers him as he is now as he is especially handsome. Tony laughed for a long time at this.

JJ’s friend passed Tony a “Happy Together”OST to sign. He opened it and looked at the cards that came with the CD, and said to JJ “Did I look very thin then?” then said he is alright now. JJ told him that he looked good now, thin but muscular. Tony said he used to jog everyday in Argentina. Life there is also more routine, and he worked out.

An hour has passed already, and Tony also autographed for 2 Korean girls. Tony made the action of signing in the air and asked in Korean “Sign, sign”. The 2 girls kept nodding. JJ was surprised that Tony knew “signing” in Korean, and Tony gave her a wink.

JJ asked Tony if he has to go, and Tony said no, and asked if they want more autograph. JJ said he must be cold and tired after spending such a long time with them. Tony said they must be colder as they are wearing so little. Tony asked what they are doing at night. JJ told him that they are going back to Pusan. Tony wished them a safe journey, and asked when he’ll see them again. JJ asked if he has any activities planned for Chinese New Year. Tony said that he doesn’t know yet, but he celebrates birthday every year, and asked them to attend in June. JJ asked where it would be held, and he said he doesn’t know yet, but probably be in Beijing. JJ said you might not know me then. Tony replied that he’ll definitely remember.

As Tony went down the stairs, he kept turning around to ask them to take care, and to meet again next time. JJ warned Tony to look out for the steps as he kept turning around. Tony smiled and said “Jiang Jiang, you have to study hard. Bye bye.”and he waved and smiled. As they were leaving , they finally couldn’t control themselves and cried. They felt really lucky to have met Tony.

I was touched by his consideration and kindness towards his fans. These girls would be happy just to see him for a minute and get an autograph but he truly chatted with them for about an hour. He is so nice and kind. When I read stories like this tears of joy came to my eyes, I can understand why these girls cried and I'm happy for them since they get to meet him and talked to him.

Tony's food tastes and mine are very different. I love spicy food

Also it is not good that Tony drinks but he seems to worry about his weight and he knows that alchohol is number one calory trap so maybe he will reduce it due to wieght issues. And how nice the description of his gestures when waiting to be told off due to his drinking was.

Wow! He is so sweet! So few people would have spent that kind of time with fans. And he remembered them from the last time he saw them! I think I would have cried, too.

That's the kind of classy behavior that you see from the truly great. I'm a big fan of an author named Neil Gaiman, and this is exactly the sort of thing that he does. After the first time I went to one of his book signings, I was a fan for life. Sounds like I'll be a Tony fan for life, too. Not that there was any doubt.

Sigh. Maybe someday he'll come to Chicago. Or maybe I'll get to go to Hong Kong........

Gosh! That was with a fan? A whole hour! He was so open and honest. Especially about his drinking. To be honest I did notice that he looked plumper around the middle and in the face. I just think it makes him look more cuddly and cuter though. Oh dear though, why has he been drinking so much? I hope it is just because he has had to socialise a lot lately and not solitary drinking.

I am very grateful to these fans for sharing their meeting with him. I am not surprised that their hearts beat faster.
