I am crossing my fingers that IA will be screening in the DC area soon! I have a feeling IA has the potential to be a box hit like Hero if it is screened nationally. |

OK.
This isn’t so bad. IA is not going to suffer a long, but quick painful death in the theater. The widest release its ever received was 5 cinemas and now is going down to 2 and out soon! Dec 7th will be available on DVD!
Week # 3
Total sales figures : $77,458 (as of 10/12/04)

Unfortunately, most Americans aren't getting to see Infernal Affairs. Just the lucky folks in NYC. I own it on DVD now, but I haven't watched it--I was hoping to get to see it on the big screen. I still think one of the biggest reasons for the terribly limited release is the remake that Scorcese, Damon, and DiCaprio are doing. I think they are afraid that if anyone sees this version, they won't shell out the $15 bucks it will probably cost to see it when it comes out in 2006. Ridiculous. |

Whahoo! IA opens in Chicago on Dec. 24th! I'm so excited!
And I got a letter printed in this month's Premiere magazine thanking them for reviewing 2 of Tony's movies. Unfortunately, they cut out the last line, where I begged them for a story on him. |
