26 June 2004 Tony celebrated birthday with fans in HK

Tony celebrated his 42 birthday with fans in HK. 70 fans from Korea, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Mainland, and HK attended. The party lasted for 6 hours. Fans took photos with Tony, chat with Tony, and got autographs from Tony. Some lucky friends also won presents from Tony, the presents include the white T-shirt wore by Tony in the concert dedicated to Leslie, the black leather vest wore by Tony in his first mini-concert, Tony's wallet, ski-pass, etc. When approaching midnight, fans counted down with Tony and sang birthday song to him at 12:00 am on 27 June 2004. An enjoyable evening.

Yesterday was Tony's birthday. After celebrating his birthday with Mainland fans in Shanghai, Tony returned to HK on 26 June, and held another birthday party for HK and South East Asia fans. Tony was very caring to fans. When he knew that fans did not want to appear on the newspaper, he asked the reporter to respect fans' request.

Tony told the reporter that there were fans from HK, Singapore, and Korea joining the party. As fans might not be able to meet him if he was working, he prefered to arrange a slot to meet with fans. When the reporter asked if Tony needed to pay a lot for the party, he said it's fine. In fact, fans already needed to bear the cost of airticket and hotel. He said fans followed his instruction to send him birthday cards instead of birthday presents. He received a lot of cards this year, and he would read them at home.

When asked what's his birthday wish, he said this was the first time he held a party in the Mainland, however, some fans needed to travel a long way, and by the time they arrived, the party was over. For others, they couldn't stay for too long as they needed to take the last train/bus to go home. So, he hoped to hold party at different cities next year, so that fans didn't need to travel that much.

In the afternoon of his birthday, Tony went to a friend's home for 3 hours to play table-tennis.

There was no sign of Carina, she might be busy shooting the TV series in the Mainland, and unable to celebrate Tony's birthday.
