I found this photo by accident and I really like it. Apparently, during filming Sound of Colors, there were stories shot at the Moller Villa in Shanghai, but all end up on the editing floor. The photo was taken by somebody who visited the set. I wonder what kind of story it could be.

He's so precious! (I gotta stop gushing over him like a mom. Laughing)

I wonder what this scene was? Did Tony play dual roles? Did he also play the man Dong Jie was in love with, but they cut those scenes because they'd create too much confusion? Anyway, Tony looks adorable! Love the tux, and the glasses, and the hair, and ... oh basically everything! Wink

Thanks for posting these, yitian! Very Happy

I like your theory, Jamaica, it's definitely plausible. Thanks for the thought.

I'm going to dig out my DVD after work and have a closer look of the scene where Dong Jie cried at the wedding. I don't remember the location where the wedding took place. Going to have fun tonight. thumbleft

TL looks very dapper and dashing in these photos, specially the second one.
The longish hairstyle suits him.

Thanks yitian Smile

Screencaptures from movie:

The "Making of SOC" documentary, on the disc, would not play on my computer, (don't know why, when the movie, itself, did), so no screen captures from it, only shots taken from tv w/digital camera. (Yes, I know, they look terrible, but that's the best I could do. Anyway, really looks to be Tony, from what I can tell; he was wearing glasses (& look at those ears!!! Very Happy) Besides, we got to see Chang Chen's unrequited love, why not Dong Jie's? Maybe because Tony was playing him?

Ohh, you're amazing Jamaica. It must take you a lot of time to capture these pictures from screens. By the way, I loved all your screen-captures posted before. Smile

I just learned how to do it myself. But mine are not much better than yours - I think Joe Ma left the scene fuzzy deliberately, just to hide a certain person from us. To support your effort, here are mine from a computer. Sad

I wonder why he was talking on the phone during wedding. Rolling Eyes

LOL! I thought the same thing! If I was the bride, I'd whack him with the bouquet! "Get off the phone!" Lol!

Glad you were able to get actual screen captures from the "making of" documentary. They definitely look better than the ones from mine. Digital cameras always show lines.

Glad you enjoy the screen captures I put up. They do take time, but any excuse to look at Tony... Wink
