Dear Tony,

Your most respect spiritual teacher reminds me on Dalai Lama Quotes =

"Whether one believes in a religion or not, and whether one believes in rebirth or not, there isn't anyone who doesn't appreciate kindness and compassion."

"It is very important to generate a good attitude, a good heart, as much as possible. From this, happiness in both the short term and the long term for both yourself and others will come."

"With realization of one's own potential and self-confidence in one's ability, one can build a better world."

So let's all of us try our best to make a better world. thumbright

Cheers,
Cisca

I am not sure if I am living a purposeful life, but I am enjoying my life and appreciate all the experiences.
Also I think in human nature, if you are happy about yourself and your life, you naturally want to be nice to others and make other people happy. Wink

Fortunately, I am easily satisfied, so I don't need much.
I've learned to think like; if I can get something I wanted, I will be very happy, but if I don't, I try to think "oh, perhaps I didn't really need it".
In this way, you never be unhappy or disappointed.

I hope we all can lead our lives joyfully and be nice to each other. Very Happy

Oh Tony you are so right...if we only create misery our lives are wasted.

It's worth the effort being nice to our fellow human beings as seeing somebody happy because you did something nice is worth a million dollars. A little kindness goes a long way brightens your spirit shows respect for others, yourself and those who nurtured us as children.

Best wishes...mary.
