Hello who ever interested in this news.

I know that Jenny can translate much better than me, but she is traveling at the moment, so I just translated basic information about this article.

WKW Secretly had the opening ceremony of the "Grand Master" in Gwan Dong.

On 21 Nov. WKW took Tony, Zhang Ziyi, Chan Chen etc to a Hotel in Kai Ping town to have a small blessing ceremony (with roasted little piglets) for start of shooting the film.
The reporter heard from the producer that the shooting will be taking place at the studio (Film Park) in near by town from 12 Dec. 2009 to 18 April 2010. The Film Park will be closed for the public during that time, and reopen on 19 April 2010.

The producer also said that the shooting should start at the end of Nov. however we will have to wait to hear from WKW himself about the details of the actors and their roles.

As the article said, "Chikan Movie and Television City" is going to be closed soon until next spring. Sad

Hello Eri !

You would be a pretty good Detective - Well Done !

(The only information I was able to find of Kaiping and Guangdong, was in Wikipedia - but nothing about a "Film Park" there)

Thank you very much for shareing -

Dear Helga and everyone interested in these places.

There are a lot of personal travel blogs with photos about these places, and after my further investigation, I found some videos which looked quite interesting. (It is in Japanese)

It said that Kaiping (Hoiping in Cantonese,Kaihei in Japanese) is the hometown for the oversea Chinese and there is "Museum of Oversea Chinese History" in "Chikan Film City" which looks very interesting.
