I am a newbie. Not having watched Chinese films in over 20 years, I took a sudden interest again in Chinese movies last December. By the time I watched Hard Boiled for the fourth or fifth time, I realized that I had fallen under the spell of the co-star, Tony Leung! At the time, I didn't even know his name. I have learned so much more about this talented actor since finding your website.
I am really writing in for those who live in the San Francisco area. I love Tony Leung's voice so much. When I found out he had recorded some cd's , I went to the nearest store looking for them. It is really a treasure hunt, usually hit or miss. Many stores do not carry his cd's. But, I have found one at Asiastar Fantasy at 1127 Grant Avenue, his Mandarin cd "A Little Bit of Love Everyday". On Irving Street, near either 22nd or 24th Avenues, where the old Hallmark card store used to be, you can find my favorite Tony Leung cd, Past and Future! And, totally by accident, I was walking past a place on the 700 block of Jackson Street, where I found among the mish-mash of cd's on a table, the Wind and Sand double disc cd set. If any of you know of any other stores that carry his cd's, please let us know! |

Hi ItsJustMe,
I fell under Tony's spell with that film also... and Chungking Express, when we first meet Tony's character.
Although I've been a fan of his acting for years, I have to say that my exposure to his music is very limited. I really must find someplace that sells his CD's around here.
