2046 - DVD - North American release

The North American version - released this week - has some extras not found on the 2-disc version issued in 2004 - which I got from Yesasia.

The main difference being a separate set of interviews with Tony, Wong Kar-Wai and Zhang Ziyi Smile

Tony and Wong Kar-Wai speak English, and Zhang Ziyi speaks Mandarin - her comments come with English subtitles.

Other extras that are "new", but not a comprehensive list - IIRC:

- poster gallery
- features on the music and CGI
- deleted scenes

Thanks Summertime for reporting the difference b/w the two DVDs. I was curious of which version is better and which one I should get. Now knowing there are English subs in the U.S. version, I'll be buying it with confident. Smile

Also, the "Behind-the-scenes" feature on the Yesasia DVD is also on the North American version - with subtitles, as everyone is speaking Cantonese/Mandarin/Japanese Smile

The interviews in English were a pleasant surprise !

2 deleted scenes, I hope they will be long. I thought there might be more since there is said to be a lot of unused footage.
