Tony Leung and Zhang Ziyi played lovers in 2046
Tony Leung and Zhang Ziyi, the stars of futuristic movie romance 2046, have won the main awards at the Hong Kong Film Critics' Society Awards.

Leung, who plays a writer of science fiction stories set in 2046, was named best actor while Ziyi, who plays his prostitute lover, won best actress.

Organisers said Leung "performed with skills and great ease".

Ziyi, who also appears in of Hero and House of Flying Daggers, was praised for "reserved and complex emotions".
